My study tips.

I find that:

1. An Organisor helps with my time management.

2. Ask yourself questions. You will be wanting to learn by finding out the what is the answer and will remembered them (longer) compared to memorizing blindly.

3. Review what was taught at the end of the day while the mind is still fresh

4. Write neatly. Highlight key points. Tidiness and colors boost your mood to read the book. Highlighting keeps me busy looking out for important points and prevent me falling asleep.

And, hope you are the sure winner.
This weekend, when i go temple I pray to Indiangods to support you"

Children's Day present

"The present, which will be given to the students ahead of Children's Day this week, has another purpose.
The present is a PSLE survival kit which contains a lollipop to help students lick their problems, chocolates to give them a hug when they need it and even an eraser to remind them that everyone makes mistakes and it's all right to do so.

Hopefully the kit will give children a boost whenever they feel tired, and encourage them to press on. The first PSLE paper kicks off on October 4"

I wish to have a children's day present too....

SBC or GMP ?

Today i learnt another Mdm Chin's principle. Use immediate reinforcement is necessary for effective learning:

Guide Motivate Praise

instead of

Scold Blame Condemn

How to be a 80/20 student?

Effective study technique: 80% of the benefit from school can be gained by doing the right 20% of the activity well.

sounds simple right? and it is very true! I find this is a useful tips:

To elaborate:
Seek 80/20 facts, when thinking with 80/20 aggressiveness (COPE):

Causes - symptoms>cause
Objective - what vs how
Patterns - linkages
Eighty/Twenties - priorities
